It goes without saying that Stephen loved running. So what better way to celebrate his life and legacy than by putting on a 5k in his honor. But why the "Risk it for the Biscuit 5k" you ask? Well, this was Stephen's motto, because he wanted to live life to the fullest and always wanted others to take risks in life.
The Risk it for the Biscuit 5k will be happening on May 6th, 2023 at 9 am in St. Johns, MI, Stephen's hometown. Registration and race information can be found below.
Proceeds from the 5k will go towards covering event costs and towards the Stephen Kay Memorial Scholarship Fund, a scholarship for high school seniors on St. John's cross country team. If you are unable to attend the race but would still like to donate to the Scholarship Fund, you can do so below.
